I've been in the music industry for 30 years as a trumpet player. Born and raised in Johannesburg, at a very young age joined a band Spirit Rejoice that travel around South Africa, then move to another local band Sakhile. In the late eighties I was travelling with Caphius Semenya around Europe and Africa raising awareness on what was S.A. then. In 1989 joined Sarafina on Broadway and US & Canada Tour. I then decided to move to California where I was awarded a Charles Mingus scholarship to go to Cal Arts in 1995. I"m now back in South Africa with my famuly trying to make music. I've writing music while in school for Indies and my music was chosen for the school CD in 1996. Bands, groups, Record company looking for different take on Jazz and world music I'm your man I also write music for singers.... I'm willing to travel, I just got back on a 2 year tour in German with Africa Africa.
