SIDESHOW’. Until recently a 3 piece consisting of 17 year old Aron on drums, 17 year old Ken on bass and Derek, a 20 year old guitar player, vocalist and songwriter. ‘SIDESHOW’ have now added a fourth member (Brad) to give the band even more depth with guitars and vocals.
Having opened for Edwin, Jay Englishman and Flybanger. ‘SIDESHOW’ draw well on their home turf (100 +) and are on their way in generating the same type of excitement throughout North America. A few of the band's achievements so far, include being at the top of the list at ‘Farmclub.com Recommends’ in the alternative section, being one of the first bands to be played on a new National CBC Radio show ‘NewMusicCanada’ and they have also made it onto the soon to be released Rocktoria 2001 compilation. A collection of songs by the 4 best bands from Vancouver Island, B.C. Chosen and put together by Rock Radio Station, The Q 100.3 FM
All told, quite an accomplishment from a rough demo and four friends who have only been together 2 years.
