Mark McEwen is co-anchor of CBS News' This Morning and one of America's best known and best loved journalists. Prior to his current assignment, he was weather reporter and entertainment editor for CBS This Morning. He is also a very funny and entertaining speaker, having trained as a professional comedian with the famous "Second City Players Workshop" in Chicago. McEwen has been reporting for CBS since 1987, covering such events as the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, the Golden Globes, the Grammy Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards. A 1995 TV Guide Survey named him one of the country's top ten most trusted TV News Personalities. In his previous role as a comedian, McEwen appeared at such comedy clubs as "The Improv" and "Catch a Rising Star."
