Sarah Charness has captivated audiences with her vibrant sound and vivacious performances. Sarah is a versatile musician, at home in the worlds of classical, contemporary, and popular music; her performances have taken her from Lincoln Center to the Today Show. Sarah is a graduate of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, where she studied violin, voice, chamber music, and orchestral performance. She earned her Bachelors of Music degree in violin performance at the University of Michigan. Sarah attended the Mark O’Connor Fiddle Camp and the Henry Mancini Institute, where she shared the stage with Quincy Jones, Bobby McFerrin, and Doc Severinsen. She has won numerous competitions in violin and dance. Sarah has soloed with orchestra on many occasions and has performed with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Nassau Coliseum and the Continental Airlines Arena. Sarah performs on acoustic violin and a Viper electric violin made by Mark Wood.
